Components

The Component Management functionality offers the capability to manage the various ingredients of your products. The components aim to be used as outputs of your activities across your chains.

To initiate the creation of a component, you'll first need to provide a name and select all relevant raw materials from the provided list. In case you can not find the required raw material, you can request a new one. Examples of this process are illustrated in the previous screenshot. You have the option to include the article number of the component from your management system, and optionally link it to a designated partner responsible for the component's creation. If your company manages the creation of the component, you may also assign this responsibility to yourself, by selecting your company in the selection.

Clicking a component brings you to the component overview, which provides a more detailed view of the component and its usage in supply and component chains.
